“This hotel is a study in contrasts: a nice lobby, good location near a few train stations and restaurants, excellent grocery store nearby. However, there are many shortcomings: this is not a 4-star hotel. Smallish room, smelled of strong cigarettes even though I had a non-smoking room. Room was very hot (and I was there in November!) and couldn't even be cooled very well with a fan borrowed from the concierge. Only one working computer with internet for entire hotel, expensive room internet connection (15 euros, or 6 euros per hour). Expensive parking (26 euros per day) and restaurants (16-20 euros per person). Rude staff.”

“The hotel met my expectations. The room was small, but neat.”

“The hotel lobby looks great and the view from the 21st floor was awesome. However, the air conditioning did not work. After 3 days of complaining a tech showed up (unannounced at 1 am) told us it was off and gave us a fan. The tub in the bathroom was nice but the shower was kind of old and dingy. It was fairly spacious for a European hotel on the bright side and our room was clean. However, it was overcrowded with tour groups as well.”

“Don't go here if you have option. We got here late. When we went to our room, we noticed that there was already someone in that room. We had to get back with our luggage and again ask for another room. Since our suite was not available, we were given ordinary room and no views for which we paid more. Breakfast is very expensive.”

“Computer facilities were poor. One out of the two computers in the lobby was out of order. The working computer was always hogged by children, in order to print my boarding pass I had to request a 12 year old to let me use the computer for this urgent need, needs oversight by staff and more terminals need to be added, not everyone travels with there lap-top. Over all the hotel was pleasant, clean, conveniently located near attractions and walking distance from trains.”

“Amazing location. Close to many places to eat, the Eiffel Tower is 4 blocks and it's blocks from a few metro stations. Excellent views as well.”

“I would not doubt that you will have a pleasant stay at this hotel - but the only downsides are that it isn't quite so visually appealing on the outside, and it's a ways away from the nearest metro station.”

“The floor carpets were torn, the swimming pool was closed, the rooms were hot and AC was not working. The bathrooms did not have hot water, no iron, no room to move in the shower, the shower was so small that water spilled out, the glass was too small for the shower. Overall, not recommended.”

“A great experience. After reading some negative reviews on this hotel, I was very skeptical. But WOW I was greatly surprised. A great location, only a short walk to the Eiffel tower, and two separate main metro lines.

“Although the lobby is nice, so far as the room is concerned, I've stayed at better Motel 6's.”

“Nice, modern hotel, but if you are looking for a the charm of Paris, this is not the hotel for you. The location is poor - this hotel is more suited to the business traveler.”

“This is large hotel in desperate need of remodeling. Front Desk and Concierge were friendly. Small pool located within hotel gym was neither good for those trying to swim laps or the kids wanted to splash around. The hotel has nice location just 20 minutes for the Eiffel Tower. Rooms were small and beds uncomfortable. Maybe their manager need to stay at a Westin hotel and learn about hotel beds potential. Windows did not open which made the rooms hot. The best thing was the breakfast buffet. Adult paid 22 euros but kids ate free.”

“Generally, it was OK. Restaurant French breakfast was weak, eggs are cooked too much (purple+green york), not actual orange juice, not many alternative were available. Rooms are too small, but still it is good that toilet and bathroom are separated. Unfortunately, rooms carpet are so dirty, you cannot even touch it with even socks. I had to bring my slippers! I supposed they would give one at least but they didn't. Everything was so expensive, specially internet.”

“The hotel was very clean and in a great location. The water was hot and after a long Paris day much needed. The staff answered to all of our needs and the concierge was great also. When you step off of the elevator the smell was fantastic, crisp and clean. The only negative thing about the entire 6 night stay was the heat. It was very hot on the entire floor and the room was not controlled individually. We had to keep the curtain open to let the coolness of the glass help to keep it cool in the room.”

“The room was tiny & not clean. There were major spots on the floor that they never removed. There was no iron or ironing board. Little place to hang clothes & no dresser.” Amenities at Novotel Paris Tour Eiffel, Paris
