  • Very good location for first time Paris visitors.
  • The internet access is poor, only two computers and bad wireless connectivity.

“The hotel met my expectations. The room was small, but neat.”

  • The rooms were spacious, the view was great.
  • Air conditioning did not work and was not fixed, shower dirty.

“The hotel lobby looks great and the view from the 21st floor was awesome. However, the air conditioning did not work. After 3 days of complaining a tech showed up (unannounced at 1 am) told us it was off and gave us a fan. The tub in the bathroom was nice but the shower was kind of old and dingy. It was fairly spacious for a European hotel on the bright side and our room was clean. However, it was overcrowded with tour groups as well.”

  • New, clean, close to train and located overlooking the river.
  • Breakfast was not included.

“Computer facilities were poor. One out of the two computers in the lobby was out of order. The working computer was always hogged by children, in order to print my boarding pass I had to request a 12 year old to let me use the computer for this urgent need, needs oversight by staff and more terminals need to be added, not everyone travels with there lap-top. Over all the hotel was pleasant, clean, conveniently located near attractions and walking distance from trains.”

  • Location. It's a block from a metro stop and 4 blocks from the Eiffel Tower.
  • Public areas on the upper floors need deep cleaning.

“Amazing location. Close to many places to eat, the Eiffel Tower is 4 blocks and it's blocks from a few metro stations. Excellent views as well.”

  • Very high class looking and visually appealing (inside).
  • Ugly on the outside, far from metro station.

“I would not doubt that you will have a pleasant stay at this hotel - but the only downsides are that it isn't quite so visually appealing on the outside, and it's a ways away from the nearest metro station.”

  • Lobby.
  • Swimming pool closed, floor public spaces were
    extremely dirty.

“The floor carpets were torn, the swimming pool was closed, the rooms were hot and AC was not working. The bathrooms did not have hot water, no iron, no room to move in the shower, the shower was so small that water spilled out, the glass was too small for the shower. Overall, not recommended.”

  • Front desk staff was efficient and helpful.
  • The swimming pool was not open in 75* weather.

“It was sufficient for my needs at for that trip at the price we got.”

  • Proximity to Eiffel Tower.
  • The hotel was of such poor quality and standards, that a low budget hotel would have been better.

“I have
never written a poor review before, I usually accept some problems as just traveling issues. Unacceptable customer service at this hotel put me over the top and really affected our overall time in Paris. We arrived at the hotel around 6 pm. and had to wait an hour and half because the server was down. They did not have an alternate way to check-in guests or offer any options for guests. A fuse was blown in our hotel the next morning and I called the front desk at 30 minute intervals and no one
ever showed up. We had to walk around Paris with wet hair in cold weather. There response to my requests was that someone would be there shortly, two hours later we had to leave because we needed to see the sights of Paris. I literally cannot write down all of the problems that we had with the hotel in such a short stay.”

  • Awesome location, great friendly staff, the rooms were amazingly neat BIG bathroom (rare for Paris).
  • The cleaning staff was a little over-zealous. Cleaned our rooms everyday.

“A great experience. After reading some negative reviews on this hotel, I was very skeptical. But WOW I was greatly surprised. A great location, only a short walk to the Eiffel tower, and two separate main metro lines.
Friendly staff, even though we spoke very little French. Overall a great hotel, with a giant bathroom. Highly recommended.”

  • Hotel personnel were pleasant.
  • Stained carpet, hot rooms, torn wall paper, and damaged doors.

“Although the lobby is nice, so far as the room is concerned, I've stayed at better Motel 6's.”

  • Great view of Paris out the windows.
  • Lost hot water on the last day.

“Daily rate for quality of hotel was excellent. I'd go back.”

  • Modern facilities, clean rooms.
  • Location poor, broken air conditioner, can't open window.

“Nice, modern hotel, but if you are looking for a the charm of Paris, this is not the hotel for you. The location is poor - this hotel is more suited to the business traveler.”

  • Breakfast -Kids ate free.
  • Rooms small and uncomfortable.

“This is large hotel in desperate need of remodeling. Front Desk and Concierge were friendly. Small pool located within hotel gym was neither good for those trying to swim laps or the kids wanted to splash around. The hotel has nice location just 20 minutes for the Eiffel Tower. Rooms were small and beds uncomfortable. Maybe their manager need to stay at a Westin hotel and learn about hotel beds potential. Windows did not open which made the rooms hot. The best thing was the breakfast buffet. Adult paid 22 euros but kids ate free.”

  • Near the Eiffel, free bottle of water.
  • Small rooms, dirty carpets, expensive internet in room.

“Generally, it was OK. Restaurant French breakfast was weak, eggs are cooked too much (purple+green york), not actual orange juice, not many alternative were available. Rooms are too small, but still it is good that toilet and bathroom are separated. Unfortunately, rooms carpet are so dirty, you cannot even touch it with even socks. I had to bring my slippers! I supposed they would give one at least but they didn't. Everything was so expensive, specially internet.”

“The pool was bad.”

  • I loved the smell and cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was wonderful.
  • It was very hot in the room, there was no control of the heat in the room.

“The hotel was very clean and in a great location. The water was hot and after a long Paris day much needed. The staff answered to all of our needs and the concierge was great also. When you step off of the elevator the smell was fantastic, crisp and clean. The only negative thing about the entire 6 night stay was the heat. It was very hot on the entire floor and the room was not controlled individually. We had to keep the curtain open to let the coolness of the glass help to keep it cool in the room.”

  • Location.
  • Size & quality of room.

“The room was tiny & not clean. There were major spots on the floor that they never removed. There was no iron or ironing board. Little place to hang clothes & no dresser.”

  • Great view of the river Seine.
  • The room was very small.

“In general the hotel is extremely overpriced for what you get. The rooms are very small with few amenities. There is no iron or ironing board in the room. There was only one chair. The shower did not have a screen but only a partial glass door. The bathroom was very small. From the external appearance it is clear that the hotel was built several decades ago. No business traveler should stay here ever. The hotel is designed to meet the needs of Japanese tourists (not a racist statement but rather a statement of fact.) The menus in the elevator are in French, English and Japanese. The restaurants lean in the direction of Japanese food. This is not a three star hotel. Don't stay here ever unless you are Japanese and like very small rooms and very poor service and you have money to waste.”
