The sleepy Orange County town of Anaheim grew up around Disneyland, the most famous theme park in the West. Now, even beyond the "Happiest Place on Earth," the city and its neighboring communities are kid-central. Otherwise unspectacular, sprawling suburbs have become a playground of family-oriented hotels, restaurants, and unabashedly tourist-oriented attractions. Also nearby is Knott's Berry Farm, another family-oriented theme park, in Buena Park.
