• Everything was wonderful.
• Nothing.

“For the birthday celebration of a good friend of my we went in a group of 8 to the Manor Cafe. The waiter who served us was amazing. He had an extensive knowledge of the food items, made sure we were in want of nothing and if I had more space I would tell you how he offered to redo a meal for one of the party members who was running late. The Desert. We were discussing going to another restaurant, but when they brought out the sample tray. Well that idea quickly changed. The atmosphere was warm it is sent in a house. All I can say is that I loved it, the food, the serve everything made our friends birthday an excellent celebration.”

• Small and busy restaurant.

“Delicious food and good service. The restaurant is pretty small and was busy when we were there. I will definitely be recommending this to my friends and will look forward to eating there again next time I am in Calgary.”

• Looks like a posh place for a special occasion.
• Terrible service.

“Having had a superb meal here a few years ago we decided to take our son there for a meal on his 21st birthday. The service was very poor to non-existent. Despite being told that bread was on the way it didn't arrive until our starters eventually appeared. My husband's and my appetizers arrived but our son's Caesar salad appetizer didn't arrive at all. Only after asking twice if it was coming did it finally arrive about 10 minutes after we had finished ours. We asked for a drinks menu, twice, and finally got it about 20 minutes later. My starter was Luke warm, probably having sat waiting to be served for quite a while. My husband ordered the special of the day, kangaroo wrapped in bacon, and it was overdone and tough. Not a place we will use again for a special occasion.”

• The place is great, food, service and lots of smiles.
• Do not eat the Caesar Chicken wraps in the afternoon.

“I really like the food but, Every thing else is great, service is A1 and really nice people work here. I have been eating here for lunch and breakfast for over 3 years.”

• The food and the service are always great.
• There's always a waiting line.

“I'm a regular at Jack's and I have never had a bad experience. I even take my business lunches there so we can get the crayons out and draw plans on the paper table cloths. It is a great mix of sports bar and casual dining and the staff is always fantastic to deal with.”
