• Close to other restaurants.
• Food.

“Wow, they served me cream of mushroom soup straight from the can. What's worse is that the soup was the best part of the meal. Terrible food, lousy atmosphere.”

• Food, service, waiting time to be seated, fireplace, and decor.
• Bad suspended ceiling.

“Nice place. The chicken zingers are the best appetizer. Truly prime rib and steaks are awesome. More I don't know because you can only eat so much at one visit. I like my 32" waist so I'll write more next time.”

“I took my family to dinner at JB's in Casper Wy. It took 25 minutes to get our food. I ordered a steak sandwich (very well done and no mushrooms). I got steak with no mushrooms. I asked for A1 sauce. When the waitress came back 10 minutes later with no A1 sauce, I asked her to please have my steak cooked. She brought it back about 5 minutes later covered with mushrooms. By this time, my family was done eating. I left restaurant & went to McDonalds & got a hamburger.I will Never go there again.”

• Nice wine list and nice wines by glass.
• Poor quality service and inconsistent food quality.

“At times, I've enjoyed this restaurant, but both service and food seem one time to be great and the next times not so great. I've been served cold entrees and there has been a refusal to reheat the food as the cooks are really busy. Also, there has been in one case, a change in the tip when the service was pretty bad. Also, if you get there when they restaurant opens, they really don't open at their stated time. Some servers aren't trained well. I'm a really great tipper, but once I only left a 10% instead of a 20% tip because the service was so bad and the food was really off that night. Service seems to be lacking when I travel as a single business woman. Giving the restaurant an overall 5 is a stretch!”

• The service, staff and owner are GREAT people.
• Sometimes a lot of college kids can flood it on Fridays/Saturdays like me.

“This bar is an awesome place to go for a fun night! I have been to the Buckhorn multiple times. There is an upstairs and a downstairs. The upstairs is a great dancing area (with another bar to buy drinks at) where the downstairs is usually more of a relaxing place where live bands come to play and tables are available to enjoy your night. I personally had a financial situation involving a ,is charge on my card one night and I had to speak with the owner of the bar. I have never delt with such a great business owner in my entire life. He is a kind, honest, family man who works very hard to ensure his business at the Buckhorn has a great reputation. He's a great person who runs a great business with great values behind his policies. So here I am posting for everyone to see that the Buckhorn Bar in downtown Laramie is a safe, fun and reliable place to enjoy an evening at!”
