• Consistently good food and classic atmosphere.
• Bit crowded and the student customers can be verbally challenging families at times.

“Henry's is my second favorite place in Burlington, which still says a lot. It is the quintessential diner with the original dining car at its center. The staff is friendly and just might call you "Hon" if you are lucky. The food is always good and features your basic breakfast fare. The wait can be 15-20 minutes for a seat at peak times on the weekend when the colleges are in session but compared to other places not so bad. Service is quick once you are seated.”

• Longer waits on the weekend.

“I've lived in the area for six or seven years and there is no better place for breakfast/brunch. The food is excellent and ranges from your basics to more adventurous takes on the classics. The staff is more than friendly, service is quick and the atmosphere is lively. The wait on the weekend can average around 40-60 minutes at peak times but it is worth the wait or peruse the Church Street Marketplace for excellent window shopping and people watching. Summers when the students are gone, the wait is decreased, especially during the week. The food is from local providers and consistently excellent. If you are lucky to get a window table the entertainment will pass you by. You never know who you might see eating here depending upon who is touring or vacationing nearby. The Cluse is one of my top five places anywhere. I'm a fan of the French toast on the daily specials board.”

• The burgers are very delicious. They are definitely better than any chain restaurants burgers.
• I wanted some more fries.

“Good. I live in the area and it is one of the few sit down restaurants in town. It also has a bar as well, which is sweet. Place is kind of small, but isnt a chain restaurant so it's nice to chill at a quiet smaller place from time to time. Overall I enjoy it quite a bit and make a short journey to this place as often as I can. Good for friends and/or family.”

• The view was beautiful.
• The lack of attention to details.

“I have heard mixed reviews of this establishment. Through friends I had heard about the current chef and decided to visit but when we visited we had learned that the chef had been let go. The menu was very exciting, priced appropriately and the atmosphere was warm but lacked occupancy. The service was very slow but friendly; we attributed this to the culture and accepted it as it was at least friendly. When our meals arrived we were very disappointed in the presentation and the lack of flavor. Our experience was just ok up to this point.”
