“We ate at the Olive Garden in Waco, Texas last week. Service was absolutely horrible. We waited almost an hour for a table (there were several sitting empty). When we were seated, it took almost 25 minutes for the waiter to come to our table. Another 10 minutes to get drinks and then 30 more to get our food. The manager came out to check on us and recognized several in our party as frequent visitors. Nothing was done as far as compensating us for the horrible service and amount of time we had to wait. We thought that at least those the manager recognized would receive something for their time. We will not eat there again. Management-wake up! You lost 10 customers that night which will translate into at least 100 being lost due to bad recommendation (business model lose 10 for every 1 bad experience).”

• Catfish and salad bar.
• Steaks rather small and not that much flavor.

“Ive been eating at this restaurant for the last 4-6mths and I'm getting to the point where I like going there at least once a week to order their Catfish basket. Its awesome. The lettuce on their salad buffet is always fresh and when I say fresh its fresh. If you haven't tried it definitely ease over to this serene place tucked away in the industrial park of Bryan if not but to try their catfish.”

• Stuffed crab, fried oysters and fried shrimp.

“An old restaurant that needs many changes. The stuffed crab was tasteless. They need the recipe changed to what the monument inn near Houston has. One fried oyster was tough, this was all on the lunch on seafood platter. 1 stuffed crab, 3 fish fillets, 3 fried oysters one was the smallest I have ever eaten and three small fried shrimp over lots of French fries. The fish was OK as well as the French fries.”
