• There's not one in San Antonio!

“Catfish that is fresh and tasty. Hot and spicy is excellent. Prices are very affordable. Clean restaurant.”

• Food tasted fairly good.
• Extremely poor service, incompetent server.

“The food was okay, fairly decent for the price. The service was horrible. I think there must have been a language barrier on top of that. But even if he had a problem understanding English, he acted like he could care less, which was a major problem for us. They also served our drinks in plastic Solo cups, which was kind of strange. The kid's drinks were in Styrofoam cups (and they were the wrong flavor which was clearly written on the side, but he seemed to not believe me when I informed him). We were also told that they had no ketchup at all (even though they serve French fries and chicken strips for kids). When he came back with a bottle of house ketchup and said is this it? This is all we have - it's the only bottle in the restaurant, it was empty. I was just very disappointed in the service as a whole. I probably would not return. There are so many other Mexican restaurant choices in the area, probably with better service - one would hope.”

• Very dirty.

“They have good pizza, but I wouldn't eat there. The reason I don't frequent the place is because it's dirty! There are gummy cob webs hanging off of the very dusty decorations, the windows inside look like kids have drug their dirty little hands across them. Bar stools are ripped up pretty bad, so don't wear anything that can snag, it will be ruined. The carpet needs to be cleaned because it feels sticky. Yeah, it could use a good cleaning. Makes me wonder what the kitchen is like. As a business traveler, I can say, no, it's not a good representation of a business persons establishment, but the people are nice.”

• Really good food in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
• Nothing.

“What a nice Monday night surprise! Friendly and helpful service, good mixed drinks, ice cold beer, clear iced tea, better-than-chain fare! Had a nice grilled shrimp/fried catfish combination with two sides (nicely chilled dinner salad with a flavorful homemade blue cheese and smoky hand-cut fries); friend had fried shrimp, fried okra and mac-n-cheese - all above average. Prices good; no room for dessert, as portions were good-sized. Ambience not bad, with flat panel TVs visible but not obtrusive. I'll be back.”

“Horrible! The restaurant is very dirty, with flies buzzing around the buffet, restrooms are filthy and floors sticky. The A/C ducts have black dirt around them where the system blows dirt on to the buffet.”
