• The Pizza, the large booths, the service, and the staff.
• None yet!

“This is my favorite Pizza place around. The service has always been good. They are family friendly and yet me and my husband could (if we ever had a babysitter) go there alone and enjoy ourselves. My daughter knocked half of a Pizza off the table one time and they quickly replaced the Pizza at no charge to me. I told them it was not necessary since, we were done eating, but they insisted. We took the whole Pizza home to go. I really enjoyed going there and take out.”

• The food is substandard, and overpriced.

“I have eaten at the Bantam Chef many times, because I work in a small town. There are not many choices, so I wind up eating here due to convenience. The food is terrible. The cooks must not care about their product, and the owner must not care about their choice in cooks. On several occasions the food has been under cooked. The chicken salad gave me food poisoning, and the breakfast food tastes like bad school cafeteria food. Do yourself a favor and eat outside of Kershaw, SC.”

“The food is really good, though the delivery service needs some work. I am having about 50 people over for a party in November that I wanted to cater but after he forgot to deliver a salad, I ordered and charged me for it. I would not recommend him. My order might not be complete. I hope he will look at his orders more closely.”

“I had lunch at Pies-On Pizza on Wednesday, October 7. The first thing I did when I walked in was get a highchair for my infant, both chairs were filthy, and I was so glad I'd brought my chair cover. The restaurant itself was not very clean. There wasn't trash on the floor, but it didn't look like it'd been cleaned anytime in the recent past. The customer service was definitely lacking. It took a while for my presence to be acknowledged up at the counter, and the lady was rather rude. As I sat waiting for my order, several other patrons lit up cigarettes and proceeded to puff away. Had I seen ashtrays on the tables, I never would have stayed in the first place; the restaurant's too small to avoid even one person's second-hand smoke. Because of the smokers, I went up to the counter to ask for my order to go. That's when I discovered my calzone had not even been made yet. At this point I had already been waiting for over twenty minutes. No apology was offered at that time. I waited outside until my food was ready. When I picked it up, the lady who took my order offered some vague apology, but it lacked sincerity. No offer for a free meal or even a coupon was given. It ended up taking 40 minutes to order & receive my food, and I wasn't waiting in line for any of that time. The food was decent. The calzone was very big, and looked good. It was seasoned with too much garlic powder for my tastes. Fresh garlic flavor is one thing, but garlic powder is another. The tomato sauce served with it was way too watery. The cheese in the calzone was not all melted. To top off a less-than-stellar dining experience, I had an upset stomach after eating my calzone. I will not be returning to Pies-On Pizza, and I will never recommend it to anyone.”
