“This comfy little restaurant is fabulous. A few girlfriends and I went there a few days ago for a few drinks to get away from our husbands and kids. Almost got jumped in the alley, but the food was definitely worth it! I had the duck, my both girlfriends ordered salads because they were on a diet. The food was so yummy I was licking my fingers! I would recommend it to anyone that loves a good time and good drinks.”

“My family, and I, drive by the R&S all the time, so we decided one night to go there to eat. I ordered the 1/2 lb burger meal, my wife ordered the spaghetti, and my son ordered the chicken fingers and fries. For my meal the fries were good, but that was about it. The burger had a sour taste as though it was spoiled, the lettuce on the burger was so wilted I suspect it was that way prior to being placed into the burger, and the bun was thin and soggy. For my wife's meal, the spaghetti was so over cooked it was twice as thick as it should have been, the sauce was nothing more than a glorified ketchup (burnt oregano and ketchup is not spaghetti sauce), and the meat balls were rubbery, flavorless, and pink in the center. My sons meal was the best of the three, but his fries were overcooked, and although he didn't complain, he also didn't come close to finishing his meal. The prices were good, but the food was terrible. The exterior to the building looks very modern, but the inside is an old school country nightmare. None else there was under 60 which is probably why they are packed all the time, medications and age alter our sense of taste. Overall, it was a poor dining experience, and it will be our last dining experience there.”

Terrapin's Cantina

- Bar selections.
- By no means authentic.
“I was born and raised in this area and can understand some reviewer's opinion of this restaurant. This may be authentic Mexican food for people who live here, but it is by no means authentic Mexican food. I am one of those people who keeps hearing about how good this food is, but after many trips to Terrapins Cantina, I will give you my honest opinion. The food is bland. The service is hit or miss. The atmosphere is so so, depending on the staff mood and the clientele at any given time. However, I do enjoy the Margaritas. If you would like delicious authentic Mexican restaurant go a few miles down the Rt. 11 towards Bloomsburg. In a strip mall is a wonderful Mexican restaurant called Playa Cancun. It is yummy! My family has never had a bad meal. It is by no means fancy, and doesn't look like much from the outside, but what comes on your plate is worth the drive past Terrapins! Hope this helps make your Mexican restaurant decision.”

- Best tapioca and rice pudding; decent portion sizes.
- 1970s style paper place mats, well-worn tables and chairs.
“The absolute best homemade tapioca and rice pudding I have had ever. Portions were huge, service good, atmosphere uninspiring, but would happily go back again and have.”
