• Service was fine.
• Food was mundane.

“Previous experience with this restaurant was very positive. However, our last visit was not up to past experience. For instance, chicken stuffed with crabmeat was favorless with skimppy crab. Salmon was fishy and scallops were overdone leaving them hard and boring. Salads were ok but not worth the price. Big disapponintment on our anniversary - probably won't go back.”

• The brie salad was good.
• Everything else. Not clean, amenities listed are not truthful, building is not taken care of.

“I recently treated a friend to a dinner at the newly re-opened County Seat in Newton, NJ. The prices were very high for the food quality. Our server was condescending and rude. The brie salad was excellent, but it was the only thing I can say that was positive about the experience. When ordering burgers, we asked to substitute onion rings for french fries, and were told it was not an option. The burgers were both overdone. I called County Seat and spoke to the acting manager. He repeatedly interrupted me and seemed totally disinterested in the complaints. I told him in today's economy customer service should be of primary concern. He hung up on me! I called back to confirm that he had indeed hung up and he said yes because he did not like what I had to say about the restaurant.”

• Food, atmosphere and parking.
• Hard to spot at first.

“The decor gets your attention at first, the entire experience is very different from PF Changs across the street. The sushi...excellent, try the tower of tuna thing, as good as it gets, looks like something from the food channel. Great value and atmosphere for me, wife and kids. Seems more formal than it actually is, very friendly and staff and service is very polished, unlike other chinese restaurants. Believe it's under new ownership, like the fact it's byob. Overall, food is great & the service is professional & friendly.”
