“Purchased gift Certificate for this restaurant from local TV station. Drove 100 miles to have a relaxing dinner. Was refused from service because I had on jeans. Not old; torn jeans just jeans. Was Tuesday evening at 5 PM. Only saw two other dinners who were not dressed up.”

  • Great food, and atmosphere!
  • None.

“They have the best potato skins I have ever had! They were out of this world! They are piping hot and are buried under a mountain of cheese that is partially melted on top. I still make the trip down (2 hours) just to have them! I love their sandwiches (the meat is always paper thin and tender) and the portions are huge! I can never finish my meal. The atmosphere is unique with a rather Hodge podge touch to the old fashion saloon look. I have never had a bad meal there and will continue to return if only for the skins. It is well worth it!”

“I have gone here for years. I love the atmosphere, food, and service. I have nothing but wonderful things to say. The food is wonderful! You can bet you will live fully and happily.”

  • The tomato bacon dressing was good.
  • Terribly bland food, too expensive for quality.

“This food was terrible. Bland, tasteless, just bad. This was my first experience with German food, and all I can say is I hope it's not all like that. The wiener schnitzel was bland, the breading tasted like it was fried in old oil. The spatzle was rubber and also very bland, not to mention I had several pieces that had been scraped off of the bottom. My daughter had the shrimp and French fries, the shrimp had not been defined. We would have been better off to go to the Cracker Barrel.”

  • Food is somewhat decent.
  • Extremely dirty.

“The food is surprisingly decent, for what you would expect for a pizza buffet. However, the place is quite dirty. Plates are still wet from the dishwasher, some of the utensils are not clean, food is laying about everywhere. Even the water from the fountain machine tasted off. Quite a nasty restaurant.”
