Hunan Manor Restaurant Inc
Oct 16, 2009 by

from Silver Spring
Overall Rating: 3
Food:[2] •
- Delivery was professional and friendly.
- The food is awful.
“I had food delivered. Delivery man was fast and friendly but food was not good at all. I ordered Broccoli in hot Garlic Sauce, steamed Vegetable Dumplings, and Shrimp in Garlic Sauce. The Broccoli was quite overcooked and brownish, the Shrimp did not taste fresh, the Vegetable Dumplings and dipping Sauce were average, and the Sauces were all much too sweet. I would not order from this restaurant in the future.”

- Location.
- Too expensive for average food, and old dirty looking table clothes.
“Disappointed! We were really looking forward to dining there! The menu was limited and the prices were too high for the average tasting food. The salad bar was small and the lettuce and vegetables didn't seem fresh. Wish we had went somewhere else!”

“This is a great place for any kind of food. They are your normal pizza/sub/wing delivery place, but also have great Indian food! Its a great place to order from for delivery, better than the Pizza Boli's or any other local delivery place.”

- Nice staff and atmosphere.
- Terrible food. Expensive.
“It was quite pricey for what we got. The lobster tail that we paid top dollar for, was not even edible. I think the bill was 125.00 for the two of us. People had raved about it, so we tried it on the way from Colorfest. Big mistake!”

Middletown Tavern

- Historical.
- Poor service, small portions, quite expensive.
“A historic restaurant with an ambiance of an old Annapolis. Very accessible from the dock and the US Naval Academy visitors center. It is a nice place to review history but not a good place to eat. First, the portions of the food is small. The smallest Filet Mignon I have seen. The Lobster Ravioli Dela Rosa $16+ is a joke. It's like a Five Ravioli swimming in a pool of tomato sauce. I cannot even taste the lobster (if it has lobster on it?). Service, quite bad. Bread and butter was served after our main course. So if you want to review your history of Annapolis, go ahead. But if you want to fill you tummy after a long walk around Annapolis, try to avoid it.”
