• I like the changing menu and the salads have always been fresh.
• Too much fried food.

“This is a New England chain. So if you travel in these states, it is a safe choice. The food is reliable and if there is a problem - the management would correct it. Locals who enjoy good mid-coast Maine seafood will still eat at 99. You have to choose and there are some gems available.”

• Onion soup especially all food was delicious.
• Nothing, it was recommended by hotel we stayed in.

“This restaurant had a five onion soup that is to die for, it was unbelievable with a bread crust on top. I am sure, would like to have the recipe. Good friendly service, prompt and busy busy.”

“My aunt and I ate at Bugaboo's in Bangor on 09.19.09. The food was good until the water we had requested was brought out in glass mugs. One mug suddenly snapped in two and the water went all over our table and ran onto me. We tried to soak it up with our napkins until our waitress finally came. Her reaction! Oh! it happens all the time, but usually in the kitchen from the mugs being hot from the dishwasher. Then she proceeded to clean the table and I had to ask for napkins. I couldn't eat my meal because I feared glass may be in it. Imagine how I felt when I was presented with a full check, no discount. I immediately got up and sought the manager. Her attitude was that I was a botherer. She gave us 10% off which saved us the grand total of $2.50 each. The food was good too, but I'll never set foot in there again.”

• Terrible food, help not friendly.

“This place was terrible, The fried rice tasted burned and had big clumps of plain rice mixed in with it, the egg roll was burned on both ends and when we asked for another one we were told they were all the same.”

• The frozen beer.
• Bathroom made me sick.

“August 26, 2009 first and only visit, disgusting is the word. The food was okay but the bar was dirty. When you make the mistake of trying to use the men's room you will never ever finish your meal. The overwhelming stench coupled with the sticky floor says it all. Try to wash your hands and you find there is no running hot water. When you mention the condition to the staff they laugh and say not my job and there is nothing I can do about it. They insisted there was no manager on duty and then tried to blame the customers for the filth. If they let an area of the restaurant the public sees gets this disgusting, what is going on behind the closed doors of the Kitchen? If you are reading this, do yourself a favor and stay away!”
