• Service was friendly but slow.
• Food was overwhelmingly bland and tasteless.

“After several years of seeing people waiting outside to dine at this restaurant, we (3 adults 2 children) decided to give it a try on a Saturday evening. The lasagna (meatless add $2.25 for meatballs or meat sauce) was bland and tasteless. The chicken Parmesan chicken was tender, sauce was bland. Pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni, topping okay, crust not. As we left the restaurant, there were a number of tattooed freaks waiting to get in. They're welcome to it. In a word don't bother.”

• Everything. Try the Souvlaki.
• Makes your brother cry.

“I have been eating at the Plaka every June for as long as I can remember. I love everything about it. My family enjoys it so much, my brother cried when he thought they were going out of business (they were just renovating). If you ever visit Fort Myers beach, please don't miss out.”

Aunt Catfishs On The River

• The view from the main dining room & the cinnamon rolls.
• Old, no flavor, too pricey, no value.

“We've been going to Daytona Beach for 15 years now and Aunt Catfish was great in its day, which has long past been over. We had a bad experience 2 years ago and decided to try it again for old times sake. Wrong! Portions we're smaller, prices higher, the food doesn't taste the same, its just full of flavor like it used to be. Sitting downstairs on the outer wall was awesome, you were close to the water and its a really beautiful setting. Years ago, they had a band that played out on the dock with nice seating, gone now. The upstairs is definitely not nicer. If anything, its worse, it was hot, cramped, the steps leading up were very steep and dangerous, not for the elderly.”

“Fantastic in every way. I've heard about if for a long time and just went for my first time. It was all I was told and more. If you like spicy, have some Luna Lava (It is terrific!)”

• The buffet.
• Nothing and all was good.

“So glad that they finally reopened. Their buffet is still worth the money, the restaurant is charming with great Italian music playing in the background, the servers are super and the food it wonderful. The owners are dedicated to getting it right and pleasing the customers. This is truly a family restaurant that both adults and children will love.”
