- The wings weren't bad if they had arrived on time.
- Pretty much everything, we just wanted to get out of the place.
“Went there for dinner with my boyfriend. We both ordered the NY sirloin with a Gorgonzola topping, and a boneless chicken wings. The appetizer arrived after the meal. And we both ordered the steaks medium rare and they were completely uncooked and inedible but the outside burnt. (And I love a really juicy. At home I cook them rare but tend to order them medium rare at restaurants to be on the safe side.) We sent them back to be cooked a little more and they came back with not as much meat that was on our plate when we sent them back, with the Gorgonzola burnt and hardened. The inside cooked alright but the outside was so burnt that you couldn't even eat it. The waitress was apologetic but didn't offer any resolution like a new dinner or discount. The place was empty besides patrons at one other table and 2 guys at the bar who were blasting the jukebox and dingy drunkenly and obnoxious at the top of their lungs to songs I normally would like. We couldn't even hold conversation across our table because of the noise. Also the two guys were hanging on the waitress and hugging her, it seemed like she was having more fun with them than waiting on our table.”

- Friendly wait staff.
- Food, space of restaurant, crowd (old/snobby).
“All I ever heard from East coast friends was how I never ate real seafood in Albuquerque. So, I thought I would be delighted by this spot but I was wrong. I ordered the swordfish and it was terrible, not fresh and bland. This restaurant is tiny and overpriced. This was my second chance and real seafood in CT but I am better served at Pappadeaux's in my hometown.”

La Fortuna Inc

- Water glasses filled frequently.
- Child size portions for adults, nothing exciting as far as taste.
“I have been to LaFortuna off and on for several years. Have never been really impressed with the place, in fact, I have been disappointed several times. Last night I attended a retirement dinner it was $38.00 per person (dinner only not including drinks). We were served an appetizer which was just one very small piece of brochette per person. Next came a very plain small salad. Dinner was served buffet style. Wait staff served the food on our plates. They gave us very stingy amounts, a small scoop of pasta, small amounts of veal, chicken, and a small portion of stuffed salmon that was no bigger than a small stuffed clam. When some of the men went up to get seconds, there was none. Our drink order was taken when we first arrived, but no one came back to take refill orders until it was almost time for desert, an hour and a half later. And, desert what can I say? There were three tiny little pieces each of something chocolate, cheesecake(?) and stale gingerbread. Those three pieces did not even equal 1/8 of a piece of pie. No one was asked if they wanted a second cup of coffee. One thing that I can complement the restaurant on was that they kept filling up the water glasses probably so that none of us would go home feeling hungry. Also, there were complaints from one table that their waiter was rude, even going so far as to tell someone that they used the wrong plate for something. Believe me. I won't be recommending this place to anyone, or going there again myself.”

Frankie's Grill

- The soda was good.
- Food, service, atmosphere. Everything.
“My husband and I went to Frankie's Grill in Derby, CT in May, 2009 for dinner. The place was loud from the bar with no business in the dining room. The owner was yelling at someone on the phone with complete disregard to us. The food was horrible: the salad had a horrible dressing that drenched the lettuce. The salad had a slab of ham on it that looked like it was from last Sunday dinner and the cheese on the salad was melted. The marinated green pepper tasted rotten. The Alfredo sauce on the pasta was pre-made (or canned) and was thrown on top of wet pasta and looked like a white curdled sauce floating in a dirty pool. My husband ordered the chicken Marsala which tasted good until he found a piece of metal from the scouring pad in the food. With old food still attached to it! How disgusting! The meal was complete when the waitress spilled the soda on my husband. So much for a romantic night out. We would never go there again.”

- Black berries.
- The food and coffee.
“Worst breakfast had ever! I was so disappointed and would never visit again! Hash like dog food, asparagus in omelet hardly cooked, very weak coffee and hollandaise like plastic (stringy and tasteless).”
