Mac Murray's Alaska Halibut House

• The freshness of the halibut and the great way it was prepared.
• That it's so far from my home town.

“We discovered the Halibut House in Sept. of '07. For someone, who is not a lover of fish, I can tell you that I can hardly wait to return to have another meal of the halibut fish and chips. We ordered that last year and found it to be absolutely excellent. We are scheduled to return in Sept. of this year and my first thought was that we could revisit Mac Murray's. We'll only be in Valdez for a matter of hours, as we'll be traveling with a Princess cruise, but I intend to make the most of my time there. If only my stomach could old more!”

• Food to die for.
• I have to travel to Kodiak to eat there.

“On a trip to Kodiak I decided to try the original Henry's and it didn't disappoint. Every bit as good as Henry's Anchorage.”
