  • The very small piece of fish was tasty.
  • Everything else was a disappointment.

“We tried the Cajun Grille a few weeks ago for the first time and I would never eat there again. The TV was on and one of the owners was watching. The TV was loud and the program was offensive. Our meal was $30+ for two people. The bread was twice as big as the piece of fish on my plate. I wonder how they stay in business.”

  • Great food, wonderful service, very relaxing and enjoyable place. New remodel makes it even better!
  • Sometimes the wait at lunch rush can be a little long, but it's only because of the crowds. Over all it's not any sort of a problem.

“The very first time I ate at Cheng Du I was served quickly and effectively. Not only did I get wonderful service, but the food was wonderful! The lunch menu is perfect for a relaxing and filling meal while on lunch break from work. (plus it's a great deal!)Definitely try it out! They also offer delivery, which is perfect for study nights(as a student I could use this!) A lot of my friends go here often. Cher (the main waitress during lunch) is super nice. She's great with kids, too!”

  • Good food at an inexpensive price.
  • Not a romantic place, but who cares at these prices.

“They cut their own steaks daily. The service is fast and the food is excellent. I'll never eat steak at another corporate restaurant again. The prices are very low ($.99 for a glass of tea). They have great pizza too.”

“The entire wait staff was black. The food was about the same as the food you get at any other steakhouse, but we were just really put off by the fact that the only people waiting tables were black men in tuxedos. It was institutions like Dale's that make people believe Alabama was still a backwards state.”
