O'Kim's
Jul 30, 2009 by Rod from Wayne, NJ
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10
Food:[9] • Service:[10] • Atmosphere:[9]

  • Great food, great service, and great atmosphere.
  • A little pricey, but not too bad for a hotel bar.

“Great food, darts, pool, great people, great service, great music what more can I say. I loved bugging out over the fact I was eating Italian lasagna in an Irish Pub in Korea! In addition to bangers and mash and fish and chips and other Irish fare. They have some American, Italian and even Mexican favorites. Make sure to try the prime rib when they have it. The local beer, O.B. on tap, is awfully good too. Being a dart player it was great to have not one, but two, dart boards to play on and learn a lot of games from various travelers around the world. It is a little pricey, but I liked everything about the place and it's nice to stay in the hotel in case the night runs long and a few too many O.B. are drank.”

Bobby London
Jan 18, 2009 by Poddle from Marbella
Overall Rating: 7 User Rating Score: 7
Food:[5] • Service:[7] • Atmosphere:[7]

  • Great cocktails and beer.
  • Lousy wine and quite pricey.

“This is a Pseudo Pub in the Lotte Hotel. We usually visit it at least once during our week long business trips to Seoul. They usually have an excellent band and have a small dance floor, so can be quite fun. Have to put the bill on exes though as it is not cheap.”

Il Mare
Nov 10, 2008 by Scott from Kerikeri
Overall Rating: 4 User Rating Score: 4
Food:[8] • Atmosphere:[8]

  • Sometimes good food.
  • Very expensive. Sometimes terrible food.

“I went to one Il'Mare restaurant in Mokdong, Seoul, with my girlfriend. The food was extremely expensive (more than W 40,000 for a steak) but good. Later we went to the Il'Mare restaurant in Singil, Seoul (near Lotte World). I ordered the lasagne (still very pricey at W 25,000) and it was cold in the middle! Obviously the chef just pulled it out of the fridge and heated it up. I sent the lasagne back, but even when it was returned to me hot, it tasted terrible - probably the worst lasagne I've ever had in a decent restaurant. I won't be going back.”
