- Food, atmosphere, no smoking, price.
- Can't think of a single negative.
“Superior cuisine! Pisco sours were delicious. Pulpo de Oliver (octopus with olive paste) was to die for (and I had never had octopus before I will now!) Picante de Cameron's was delightfully prepared, as was the Lomo salteado. Love the seasoning with parsley and cilantro. The uniformed wait staff is very clean and attentive. The atmosphere was very clean and bright no smoking and excellent lighting. Be careful though there is no sign out front to indicate this is a restaurant the owner prefers his clientele to come by word of mouth. Consider this my most positive endorsement of this wonderful establishment. I will go again!”

- Nothing.
- It was a heaven for prostitution - drugs and other illegal activities.
“This place no longer exists. It has been closed for a long time. At the same time it was inundated with drugs and illegal activities.”

- Very tasty food, beautifully decorated.
- Very small selection of non-alcoholic drinks.
“Of the 5 Restaurants that I ate at here in Chile, Como agua para chocolate was by far the best. The atmosphere was very nice. The food was very good and ornate.”

Flannery's Irish Pub

- Good food and great atmosphere. Nice outdoor area too.
- Slow service, but that's typical in Chile. Stick with basic cocktails.
“We've been living in Santiago for over a year and have all but given up on finding anything spicy down here. Not that it's at all spicy, but Flannery's is the best place we've found for Mexican Fajitas! Yes, you'll need the bottle of Tabasco sauce to add heat, but over all, it's a great meal. Served sizzling hot with lots of soft flour tortillas. And the restaurant itself really has a lot of authentic "Irish Pub" charm. In a sea of Santiago "chain pubs", Flannery's is a gem. But don't try their exotic cocktails. My "Mexican Delight" or some such title turned out to be a glass of grenadine, a splash of pineapple juice and just a hint of something claiming to be tequila.”

Puerto Peru

Overall Rating: 2

Atmosphere:[5]
- Well lit.
- Poor food. Wine stored poorly and in a vinegar state.
“We had heard good things about Puerto Peru but it was a great disappointment. The food was very bad. The lamb dish we ordered had much too much salt and the pasta was served Luke warm. Worst of all was the wine. I ordered the best bottle on the list but it had turned to vinegar due to bad storage. I ordered another bottle also on top of the list and this was also vinegar. When the third bottle turned out to be off too, I just didn't have the energy to send it back. We paid the bill in full and didn't drink the wine. A restaurant to studiously avoid.”
