  • Nice atmosphere&
  • Terrible server!

“I went there with my girlfriend to have a drink on the balcony upstairs. They gave us seats closer to the wall rather then the edge of the street. When I asked them if we could switch, the server told me those seats are for eating patrons only. I asked him for a couple drinks and an ashtray. The drinks and ashtray didn't show up for nearly 20 minutes! The server even walked right passed us and said nothing while we were waiting, and ignored us when we left! Terrible servers. At least to us little guys. They served people ashtrays and drinks who were ordering food quick as ever!”

  • People watching from open-air tables, reasonable pricing.
  • Slow service, mediocre food.

“This is an apparently popular restaurant with tables looking out over the busy summer street scene. It's great for people watching, which is a good thing because the wait for our food was very long. Although aspiring to be an upscale Italian restaurant, our waiter was lost when we tried to order by using the Italian names listed in the menu! We had to read him the French descriptions under each entry instead. The food was disappointing overall. The house salad was fine--very fresh butter lettuce with a fine but ordinary vinaigrette dressing. My grilled salmon with rice and grilled zucchini was just ok--both rice and salmon were overcooked and dry, although the caper and vegetable garnish was tasty and salvaged the meal. I didn't try any other entries, but 3 of my 4 companions left most of their food on their plates. The ravioli and the French onion soup in particular were nearly untouched. With so many excellent restaurants up and down the street, I suggest passing Pino by!”
