“I have been to Betty's tea rooms half a dozen times and I have never been disappointed. My friends and I go to York twice a year - spring and Christmas but we only go to York to go to Betty's. Upsatairs is very open and bright and airy with large windows. A table seat gives a fantastic view over the hustle and bustle of the city. Downstairs is modelled on 'I think' it's the Queen Mary. It is all very dark wood panelling but an extremely cosy feel. The chips are to die for - as is their cinnamon toast. I always have a scrambled egg and bacon muffin which is served with a good dollop of homemade chutney.” 5 of 5 people found this review helpful.Restaurant Representatives:
