“I have often had a drink at the Adelphi and it does some great beers, lagers, and juices (including Pomegranate), The bar staff are generally friendly and helpful. Where it falls down however is in the food department, I ordered the Dolce latte pie with Yorkshire pudding and roast veg, which cost A#7.95. I was happy to pay this price if the portions where large or the food quality excellent, alas neither was the case. The pie itself was very tasty and impressive the veg however was limp and over cooked, the Yorkshire pudding was fine, but nothing to write home about, and the portion sizes was small at best. A group at another table ordered the meat version of the roast and had similar complaints, in my opinion the portion sizes or the food quality needs to increase to avoid costumers being disappointed. I will happily return there to drink (although the booze is pricey too) but I won't be eating there again.”
