“The bartender was very accommodating and we enjoyed hearing the history of this very old restaurant. When we got called to dinner (up a long staircase by the way, no elevators), the bartender carried dinner up the stairs for us. The meal was very good, and the service at the bar was unforgettable. We enjoyed our trip.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Feb 18, 2005 by

“We went inside for an Irish Coffee and clam chowder. Great place to get off your feet for a few minutes. Cozy atmosphere (we sat at the bar). It's the oldest restaurant in the US (or so they say). I recommend it. Bartendar was a hoot to talk to! Pay attention - he has a strong accent you can hardly understand.” 5 of 6 people found this review helpful.Restaurant Representatives:
