“This is my favorite restaurant in all of Rome. The atmosphere is unparalleled by any other if you ask to sit within the cave-like area of the restaurant at night. It is not fancy so that you have to look too nice and I would say it is off the beaten track of tourists. Everything there from the meat to the pasta is magnificent! Their classic appetizers are also marvelous! Not to mention the friendly staff. A true gem.” Jun 13, 2007 by

“We went there on his recommendation of our grandson and we found the restaurant to be wonderful. Please try the homemade Gnocchi and elegant meatballs! All in all, this is a wonderful place built in a historic site. Please ask for directions as you will probably have to walk here. It is a crowded and joyous neighborhood; every one is friendly and questions are answered most cordially. Do not be afraid if you do not speak Italian, as in most places in Rome, English is spoken very well here.” Restaurant Representatives:
