“Cooper Street is the cheapest bar in town and the locals love it! If you are visiting Aspen please do not come to Cooper Street expecting the 5 star celebrity treatments you receive everywhere else in town. The Cooper Street staff is well known, and liked for their blunt and unforgiving service. If you ask for the wine list be prepared to get run out of the bar! Beer and well drinks are the specialty at Cooper. Looking for service with a smile? Then don't bother coming in....Looking for cheap food, strong drinks, and a good game of pool? This is your spot! Parties of five or more will have gratuity added. And if you walk in with a family that has many children you will receive the worst service of all. You will literally see every employee in the place roll their eyes in disgust at children! Recently Cooper street has opened a bar in the basement called The Last Stand. It was formed by locals who feel the town is being taken over by the money hungry folk. The Last Stand boasts local live music almost every night, in a red lit room. The drinks are still cheap, priced the same as the upstairs original bar. Worth checking out any night of the week, as long as you are not a slimy rich tourist! Cheers!” Restaurant Representatives:
