• Excellent location. It does not get better than this.
• I did not like the bright yellow and blue stripes on the walls.

“Sir Francis Drake is a very upscale and prestigious hotel. I've always noticed it with their valet standing out front dressed in attire that appears straight from the medieval era. The hotel lobby is very luxurious and spacious. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar in the middle of the lobby is trendy and a fun place to have a drink. Be sure to check out the Starlight Room at the top of the hotel for a few fun drinks and impressive views.”

“Great location and a lot of history, but the employees did not care that there were prositutes hanging around and the city does not seem to care much about its cleanliness or appearance.”

• The staff was very helpful and greeted us everywhere we went. We loved it!
• The parking was way too expensive! $50 is way too much for 10 hours of parking. Trash cans not emptied when we got in room.

“The hotel was very romantic for our weekend away. We were treated with a lot of respect. The staff were very helpful and pleasant to communicate. Loved the uniforms of greeters. The corner room was very nice and the room was set up very nice. It was a very romantic evening for us!”

• Location and customer service.

“Furniture in my room was a little worn. However, the room was decorated well and the amenities are there that a US traveler wants. The location was great and the customer service was excellent.”

“Hotel is a great location near union square, shopping, trains, china town, trolley to lombard street and fisherman's wharf. Decent exercise facility. Hotel was very clean, very nice lobby and restaurants.”

• The rooms were small and cramped. There was no parking so all was
  valet.

“The location of the hotel was great however the rooms were small and cramped. The bathroom was a shoe box, bathtub/shower was clogged and no counter space. The fact that there was no parking and the car was valet only and was a slight inconvenience too.
