• Owner creates special events for clientele. He just flew in a chef from sienna Italy to cook just two dinners.
• Over the years I have hit a little bump or two but they remedied it in a timely and accommodating fashion...

“Sotto spore is the complete package to me, great Italian food. Not American Italian but Italian food both contemporary and nods to the rational. The restaurant is housed in the tm. Vernon district of downtown in a fabulous historic town home with tile floors, large mirrors and a gorgeous mural. I would call it casual chic. Service is impeccable, not stuffy. I've dined their multiple times when I wanted a nice place to take a client to lunch to Monday nights where the wine-by-the-bottle is half price. I'm not surprised it has been around over 10 years.
