• Atmosphere, live music and the way they were 6-8 years ago.
• Average quality.

“This restaurant was great about 6 or 8 years ago. They were the fine dining place in Appleton. They were the priciest but worth every penny. Today, like many restaurants in the Fine Dining category in the Fox Cities, they were caught in a squeeze between rising labor costs, reduced interest in paying fine dining prices and perhaps a bit of owner greed. As a result, they cut the quality of food ingredients and when their talented chefs left, they replaced them with FVTC interns. The food is now average in taste and presentation. Alcohol is considerably overpriced. Service is average. The only thing that isn't average is the price. Consequently, the value is exceedingly low. I'd recommend driving 35 minutes north to Hinterland or 15 minutes east to Apollon.”
