• It's clean and there was no wait.
• It was cold, portions were small, prices were up, and gumbo wasn't as good.

“Bayou is under new ownership. The decor has changed; we loved the old decor with the mardi gras feel and eclectic collection of photos, knick knacks and mardi gras beads. We were waited on by someone with loads of piercing in his face. The prices have gone up, the food doesn't taste the same and the portions are smaller. We used to go at least once a month, but we were really disappointed with the new bayou and will not be back. We miss Tim and his fabulous gumbo!”

• Great food, Great service.
• Parking is a little tough in the summer.

“We were greeted by our friendly and most efficient waitress as soon as we arrived. The craw fish and crab cakes are so good. My husband had a special catfish dinner that was fabulous! We have been back many times since our first visit. The owner and chef stops by to chat and make sure everything is OK, a nice touch. ”
