• Hamburger.
• Hostess and one of the waitresses are very rude.

“I like this restaurant well enough. It is right in my town, Garrett Park, but I mainly come for the amazing hamburger which I fell in love with when a regular at "Addis" one of their other restaurants. They use excellent meat so I can get it very rare and cook it on a wood fire grill so it has a really unique taste. However, I have recently had some VERY bad service at this place. The hostess, don't know her name but blonde with glasses, and one of the waitresses, thin with brown hair, have both developed an uppity attitude. They seem to cater to some and not others. I often come in by myself so I don't know if that is the source of the unfriendliness. I have stopped tipping the waitress so now she is even ruder. They do have some excellent servers. The Pakistani man is the best. I think these girls are just burned out. I plan to write a letter to the management but haven't gotten round to it yet.”

• Fine food, wine selection, bar, restaurant in three rooms, courteous and friendly staff.
• Does not take reservations.

“The cafe and store has been replaced by Black Market Bistro, a superb restaurant at the same address in the newly renovated post office building. Excellent food and service. It's a popular spot for people going to Strathmore Music Center in the evenings.”
