• Food, walking distance from the Howard Johnson hotel.
• Service, attempt to take advantage out of the foreign tourists

“The food was ok. The service was basic. We had a good evening and asked for the cheque. We got a cheque including already 18% gratuity. Upon handing over the credit card it took the waitress together with the others more than 20 minutes to produce a slip, which already included the 18% gratuity. When making the remark that this was not the usual way to proceed in the States, they tried to convince me that this was always the case in the US. Then I told them that this was approximately my twentieth journey to the US, including a number of business trips and still they tried to convince me that this was the usual way. Then, to cut final, I asked them to speak to the owner and, all at once we were provided with a new slip with the tip left blank. So we gave 15% tip, and left without getting a decent goodnight from he staff”
