• Salad, value, food quality (not super gourmet, but good).
• Music inconsistent, slow service at times, one confused waiter.

“My husband and I go here frequently because it is very convenient and it is good food. Very nice salad comes with meal, and food is good. The service is fair, though a few of the wait staff always seem very distracted (one well-meaning young man in particular). Service can be slow, and the music they play is inconsistent. It is sometimes just awful, and sometimes good. Good value, and the food enjoyable.”

• Perfect location for a restaurant.
• Food was cold, salad soggy, service a total failure.

“My husband and I have lived in Ridgefield for 40 years and have lunched often in the past the food was never that great but the atmosphere was pleasant and service good. When one of my sons graduated we had a dinner party there with a number of relatives and friends and everyone enjoyed their meal. This past weekend we had friends visiting from out of town and were totally embarrassed by the receptionist. We were waiting by the door and no one greeted us than when 6 other people enter the receptionist went to them to offer a seat as if we didn't exist. Of course I spoke up and although the place was not crowded she sat us at a very small table by the kitchen door. I again spoke up and suggested another table larger and by the window but she would not accommodate my wishes. The whole time we dined and when we left that table was never occupied. We will never return. East ridge cafe is scratched off our list. Also up until a couple years ago I would luncheon every Tuesday with lady friends. ”
