“El Indio is a San Diego landmark but it is not what is once was . It is more of a tourist trap now the quality of the food has gone down and the price has gone up . If you are looking for a great burrito this not the place to go. If you do go there get the Taquitos that is what they are know for and are best at. When it comes to San Diego Mexican food some place's are better at one thing than others.” Jan 27, 2007 by

“El Indio is a landmark but overpriced it is not. Eating Mexican food in san Diego is an art form and you need to know what to order and where. El indio makes ok burritos but they specialize in taquitos or rolled tacos. Five bucks gets you the taquito platter with five rolled tacos, guacamole, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. It is big enough to share for two. Morbidities is another favorite with cut up taquitos smothered in nacho sauce.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Sep 23, 2006 by
