“On August 17, 2009, my husband and I went to Bob Evans on Crain Highway in Bowie, Maryland for breakfast. I ordered French toast, hash browns and sausage. When my food arrived, the French toast was cold and I told this to the Waitress who left the check on the table and took the French toast away, I presumed to heat it up. I finished the hash browns and sausage and my husband finished all of his food and she still had not returned with my French toast. We were ready to leave so; I told my husband that when we pay the check, we can just ask them to take price of the French toast off. When we got to the register and explained what happened, the clerk said he had to get the Manager. The Manager came over and said are you sure you didnt get the French toast? and I said yes. He then said, If I ask the waitress, will she say the same thing? I then told him to call her over here and ask her. He then took the price of the French toast off of my bill. After leaving the restaurant, the more I thought about how this Manager had accused me of trying to get away with the cost of the French toast which was $5.00, I became really angry. Needless to say, I will never patronize this establishment again. Even if he thought was trying to steal, he should have never accused me before at least bringing waitress over to ask her what happened but he didnt. The manager really needs some customer service training. I am sure Bob Evans corporate offices offer training to managers on how to handle different situations that may arise. I am not going to leave my home address on this message because I am afraid the manager will come to my home and harm me and my family.” Nov 18, 2007 by

“I live in Captitol Heights MD. I normally visited the Bob Evans in Clinton Maryland because I receive outstanding service and food. I would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to the men and women who work at Bob Evans on the weekend morning shift in Clinton Maryland next to the Sams Club. The entire place is away clean and the workers are friendly and helpful. It takes men thirty to forty minutes to drive from Capitol Heights to Clinton MD. Once again Thanks for the outstanding support! I will continue to eat my weekend breakfast in Clinton MD. On the other hand, today before attending church today, I visited the Bob Evans in Bowie MD on 301 which is a fifteen minutes drive from my home. I tried to be nice to the waiter. (The Big Brown Man) that seated me. I said, good morning to the person who seated me and he never said morning or anything. This was around 7:30 am. The waitress was very nice and helpful. After I ordered my food, I noticed that the carpet smelled like something had died. When my food arrived, I noticed that the bowl that my fruit was in was covered with food on the outside and my glass of water had food also on the outside of the glass. When I checked-out the same man (Big brown skin man) never said how your meal or anything was and once I paid with my debit card he never thanked and could not look me in the eye. I am accustomed to friendly service and a clean place to eat. In the future I will drive the extra twenty minutes to Clinton MD to receive better food and better service.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Restaurant Representatives:
