  • First drink order started off okay.
  • Everything else.

“Cheesy gift shop in lobby, wait a long time for someone to seat me as well as a couple in front of me that had been waiting for a while; apparently shorthanded by number of apparent employees (2 waitresses after a while). While waiting for a table saw sign that place owned by Bob & Kathy Johnson (I think that's right), not a good omen. Stuck off in a corner, solo dining can be weird, but this was somewhat unnecessary judging by available tables. Waitress came back for a drink order and returned with same in reasonable time (even though the choice of Mexican beer was very limited but this is Utah). Chips and salsa served, most of the chips weren't completely crisp, rather still soggy with oil in middle; salsa unexciting but tasty (their standard mild from what I gathered after I read a placard off to the side of the table). Ordered a simple combination, figured that would be safe, two tacos and tacquitos with standard beans/rice/splash of lettuce. Took quite a long time to see waitress after food order, no chance for water let alone another drink until food arrived after quite a while. Tacos were ordered crispy style, but were soggy and barely warm, barely anything inside either. Tacquitos were overly hot (like they had been nuked too long), reasonable amount of filling but bland and hardly any of the advertised guacamole was present to help (and it wasn't good guacamole either, some weird green sauce). Rice was overcooked, sorry splash of standard canned refries, chopped lettuce with a splash of salsa). Horrible music played overhead the entire time, super cheesy Mexican gringo fare.”
