“I ate at Yoder's yesterday and immediately noticed the vine ripe fresh tomatoes were just that - vine ripe and fresh! My family ate a variety of foods and every person thought their plate was the best. No one had room for the scrumptious deserts, but a few forced themselves. Simple food well prepared - can't beat it.” Feb 11, 2008 by

“We love it. We eat there every time we go to Perry, George to the Train Show at the Fairgrounds. Their food is terrific all the way around. Everyone who is in the area should got there. You will be really glad you did. The people are great and you need to also go to their store across the way for terrific jams, jelly's and much, much more. It is a must stop for us!” Oct 2, 2006 by

“You really have to try buttermilk pie! Do not let the name fool you...it is a wonderful custard like slice of heaven!. Portions here are great. If you finish what is on your plate, you will probably skip supper. DO call ahead to be sure the restaurant is open...they will close for family weddings so always check. (This will include the gift shop and general store.) Really friendly people! Be sure to read some of the books in the gift shop on their lifestyle. You may be in for a pleasant surprise! ” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Sep 13, 2006 by

“It's a very nice place to eat. Always clean and good food saved cafeteria-style. In the same building is an excellent bakery for breads, pies and cakes. Next door is a folk store selling homemade and other craft type items. They are closed Sunday & Monday and only lunch on Wednesday. Lunch and dinner other days Lunch 11:30 - 2:00 Dinner 5:00 - 8:30” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Apr 25, 2006 by

“We were so impressed with the quality of food, fresh, and tasty. Good portions for the money, cheapest eats on our trip. Loved the desserts-best part of our trip. Even purchased a their cookbook the desserts were so wonderful. We plan on returning to the area again and will make a stop back at Yoder's, my husband can't wait. We are telling everyone we know to make a visit if your in this area, just wonderful.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Apr 5, 2006 by

“It's a good thing they haven't franchised this place. The obesity problem would be far worse -- especially in MY house. Good, down home country style cooking' with plenty of everything. I've been eating there almost since they opened. In very few restaurants do you see whole families sitting around a big table, asking Grace, and enjoying a good meal together at an affordable cost.” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.Restaurant Representatives:
