• The waiter Rory (I think I spelled it right) is always very pleasant.
• Need to call ahead on weekends, always busy.

“Love the place. It was recommended several years ago by a local Tahoe friend. We have visited there many times a year and have always had excellent food and service. The menu is great; try the sea bass and the scuba bread, always my favorite. They also offer many great wines to choose from at fair prices. You will leave very pleased every time you visit.”

• The service is superb - food excellent!
• Nothing.

“As long time residents of South Lake Tahoe, we have been steady customers of Scusa. We have never had one bad meal or bad service. I must disagree with one review about bad lasagna, we have the lasagna regularly and it is fabulous! Try the linguini it will make you cry it is so good. I recommend this place to anyone staying in Lake Tahoe, it is not a tourist trap like some other places, and you will leave satisfied that you came.”

• efficient and attentive staff
• really bad lasagne, at least one staff member was drinking wine.

“If anyone decides to go to this place for dinner i would suggest that you don't order lasagne. I did and recieved what amounted to 3 cheeseburgers (without the bread) stacked on top of each other, all covered in what seemed like a tin of chopped tomatoes. As far as i know, i only could manage two small mouthfulls, there was no lasagne pasta and no bechemel sauce - both pretty essential in a lasagne.

I didn't complain at the time as my girlfriend would not have liked it but i will probably not be going back to Scusa again.”

• GREAT food!!! Their specials are always amazing!
• Only serve beer and wine

“Although during my last visit to Scusa, we were greeted by a bitter woman who gave us a bad start to our dining experience, our waiter was excellent, and the food is ALWAYS excellent! Scusa is my favorite restaurant on the south shore.”
