• Traditional German food in an eccentrically dense environment with knowledgeable wait staff.
• Parking can be problematic.

“A wonderful "old style" German restaurant. This is not "new cruisine." Very traditional comfort food. The portions are quite large and the food is heavy so if you're not very hungry or simply can't eat a lot of heavy food, consider splitting portions. The atmosphere is dense; dark wood, lots of decorations, very Baroque. Not for those who like lots of modern, open space in a restaurant. The wait staff is excellent.”

• Tried this restaurant for the first time. Have lived in the area for a long time. Enjoyed the experience.
• (Not really negative) atmosphere (dining room) dark, as I remember German restaurants to be.

“One of the few German restaurants in the area. They serve German meals as well as specials that borrow from other areas of the world.



Service was very good. Attentive and knowledgeable server(s).



Selections were good, though not great. Good choice of German traditional dishes. Good German-based wine and bier selections.



Prices are moderate to the low side of high, but plan to return soon.”
