• Location! Can't be beat for location and atmosphere with live music at night and lake views.
• Service could be more attentive. Dog night on Thursdays.

“Lake Lanier Tea House is not a Chinese restaurant (as of this writing, this site had it classified as such). It is upscale dining American cuisine including steak, fish, pork and chicken. I highly commend the chef for presentation and complex flavor that is pleasing. The location is exceptional and relaxing with live music on the night we were there. Our service could have been better with our waitress on her cell phone for a long time when we were waiting to order, not taking away used drink glasses, getting our order wrong and not providing a discount when my beef was far from the medium-well I had requested. The service wasn't terrible, but it wasn't up to par for the price range either (average entree). So basically, the location is great, the food is great, the service is okay. And if you don't want to sit next to a bunch of dogs, stay away from the patio seating on Thursday nights.”
