  • Good cheap Italian food.
  • The place was a run down and the owner was a bit crazy.

“The food was good, especially at the price. Just don't work here. I've known several people who were waiters there and none worked for longer than 8 months. The owner has major anger issues and needless to say doesn't bring out the best in his employees. If you like pizza, go to Woody's down the street or Manny and Bo's on S. Golden instead.”

  • The cooks still do a good job - food was good, as usual.
  • I'm not hard to please - but they need some major lessons in customer service.

“Wow - incredibly poor service. We just returned home from Tony Rigatoni's in Golden, after the worst service I've ever had. We have been regular patrons of this restaurant for several years, but will not go back. The restaurant was not very crowded, and we were seated outside - the beautiful summer night ended up being the only highlight of the experience. First se waited for 15 minutes before asking if we could get some water, and a waiter. He apologized and took our order. Someone else brought our salads, someone else still, our dinners, so we still didn't know who our server was. Then after watching several of them walk past with water, refilling other patrons' glasses, finally went inside and asked if I could get a pitcher and fill them ourselves. 'I'm sorry', I heard, then we never saw anyone again until our dinner was brought to us, and once again no one came back, even as we waited after finishing our meal. Finally, I went back in to ask for a take home container, and to ask for our check. I asked for, and told the manager of our experience, and instead of apologizing, he asked who our server was. Since I honestly didn't know, I couldn't tell him. I found it amazing that instead of apologizing, he was looking for who to blame. I went back to the patio to collect our things and then inside to pay - at this point, angry and disappointed as we were.”

  • The food was delicious and atmosphere was wonderful.
  • Our waitress was a little inattentive.

“I visited Toni Rigatoni's for lunch today and it was a delightful experience. Our waitress was very helpful and gave great input on the entrees. The lunch items come with salad, bread and a glass of wine or a Mocaccino. A lot of food for the price! I ordered the Spaghetti with Marinara and a meatball and it was very tasty! It's better than other restaurant pasta that I have tried. I would say that it's time to give them another try if you have had a bad experience in the past.”

  • Very nice server.
  • Food has gone way south.

“ We have been there many times before and had always had a good experience. We had not been there for a few years (we have a toddler and rarely get out of the house anymore!) We met some friends there for a date night, without the kids. The building was as I remember. It's an old house, quaint, maybe a little run down but it feels like an Italian grandma's house. Anyway the wine list had changed. (Very limited selection) we ordered a bottle of Chianti and antipasto, since when does a mayonnaise salad come in antipasto? The menu has changed as well; maybe it just wants to be a lunch pizza place. The carat mica, (used to be my husbands favorite) came with the equivalent of an unbraided pounded chicken patty on top not at all what it used to be. There used to be a line there on Friday nights. We got there at 7:45 and there were 5 empty tables (saying something when there's only 10 tables in the building) too bad. Used to be a nice little Italian restaurant...”

“After a long day trekking, we arrived in the restaurant with my wife and two young children.

The restaurant was old and seemed it was falling apart. The food arrived 45 minutes later. Before we had a chance to start, loud voices were heard and a Pakistani looking guy who claimed to be the owner got into a fight with a customer. As the scene was getting really ugly, we left immediately and decided never to return.
