• Great food.
• Service is okay - could be better if they'd hire a few more people.

“There is nothing romantic about the restaurant but as my dad said so often, "you can't eat the decor." The food is truly outstanding. The service is good - not great, they really need a few more waiters and waitresses for better coverage of their patrons. This place is always busy because the food is so good and the charm of it, once your inside, is that it's like a family restaurant in an old Italian neighborhood. It's very noisy at times due to the crowd so if you're planning a romantic dinner and hoping to whisper "sweet nothings" or propose, pick a different restaurant. The salads are crisp and fresh, the eggplant supreme, the pasta dishes cooked al dente - just right, not soggy. Their sauce is one of the best. If you're in the mood for good Italian, this is the place.”

• Everything.
• Length of cook time but taste makes up for it.

“It's the best Italian food I¿ve ever had. The eggplant pram is the best in Illinois the fried calamari is not to crisp not to soft and the homemade cheapskate is the best.”
