  • Good value, good quality.
  • Dated dining area.

“I have eaten at this restaurant about 20 times over the last 3 years. The buffet is good but the spicy dishes are never as hot as I like them. However, I find the service to be good and have frequently asked for and received complementary condiments such as chopped green onions and chili sauce on request (with the buffet, mind you). the dishes ordered at the table are generally more well seasoned and are provided in very generous portions. I have been given chopsticks at no cost; I don't understand a previous reviewer's being charged for them. I find the dishes exhibit good consistency from visit to visit, except for the hot and sour soup available at the buffet, which varies in spicy heat intensity.”

  • Clean decor in a casual sit-down dining area.
  • Everything is pink and they charge for chopsticks.

“I always drive past this place and always forget it is there. I was craving some Chinese food and remembered it so I decided to try it.

The decor was mauve but clean. The buffet looked well stocked and the buffet warmers were top quality.

I ordered two standards, Shrimp Lo Mein and General Tso's. Easy enough, huh? The chicken tasted almost like prefrozen country style chicken chopped up and added to a Chinese dish. The breading and black pepper was like the processed chicken you find in the frozen food section. Then there was the issue of getting a dish more like Kung Po Chicken. It has characteristics of both but I've never seen General Tso's served this way.

The shrip lo mein was decent. The vegetables were a substantial size and variety. It would have been nice to see more shrimp. I found myself digging and shocked there were so few.

Despite the lack luster food I knew before it arrived that I wouldn't be eating there again. Ever! I asked for chopsticks and she said it would be $.45 extra. WHAT??? I even asked her to repeat herself in case I misunderstood. I understood correctly. This place actually charges you $.45 for each set of chopsticks.

I can understand if some kid walks in looking for chopsticks and doesn't buy food. I just ordered entries and beverages and she told me they charged for chopsticks.

Obviously, the owners and management think there are no other casual Chinese dining options in the area!”
