• Staff is very knowledgeable of the German food as well as the culture.
• No regrets.

“You really get a taste of Authentic German cuisine. The owners and staff are very friendly and always treat us like we are the only table in the restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want a good experience.”

• Laid back owners.
• Off the main drag, have to hunt it down but worth it.

“Been going there for years. I make a trip of 100 miles from Charlotte NC just for them. Like other reviews, nothing fancy but great food. Owner/cook (German) and hostess (American wife) are perfect hosts. When I go, I just say feed me whatever you want. Then I have a good conversation with one of them as I eat. They are usually not crowded or maybe It's my timing. Try the Lemon Schnitzel. It's Great.”

“I love this place. It's not world class or anything, but it's one of my favorite German restaurants to go to and relax any night of the week. It's great for couples because of the quiet atmosphere. The food is excellent, and the experience is great overall.”

• Excellent sausage sampler plate.
• Didn't have Black Forest Cake.

“First, Berliner-Kindl is a good restaurant. It's food is basic German fare and not fancy. But it's good. The atmosphere is basic, unpretentious, clean "cafe" and nothing particularly special. Regardless, the food is good and they have authentic German beers available and their deserts are excellent. We had an enjoyable meal.”
