• Best sweet tea in South Texas, and the Caldo de Marisco is amazing.
• Open endorsement of political candidates can be distracting during Election Season.

“The food is inexpensive, but well prepared. Especially good is a bowl

of the Caldo de Marisco (a seafood soup chock full of large chunks of fish

and prawns) and a glass of the sweet tea, which tastes as though it were

blended with a perfectly balanced amount of fresh lime juice.



The restaurant includes one raised area in the back, and one separate

room near the front and to the left, in addition to the main dining areas.

These areas are separated by just enough walls and corners to reduce

the noise that one would otherwise expect from so many diners.”
