• Location.
• Service, food quality, the constant up selling.

“We ate there this week and found it very disappointing. I had been there before about four years ago and had a good time. What difference a little time makes. Cheeseburger in paradise has clearly been running on autopilot for too long and simply takes their customers for granted. The service was very slow -- two of our burgers arrived after a long wait but there was an even longer wait for the third -- and the food quality was not what it once was; they use frozen patties and not fresh ground beef. The owners have forgotten what made them unique and are now just in it for the money. Fortunately for them, they have a great location and little competition. Parking in Lahaina is such a hassle that people going there will take what they can get. I have never been to a restaurant that had such cynical contempt for its patrons and would urge everyone who has to try it to be aware.”

• I loved the atmosphere, the food was great too.
• We couldn't go back.

“We ate at Cheeseburger in Paradise in Lahaina on the advise of several friends who'd been there before. We were not disappointed! It was a fun place to eat. Loud, (live music) full of atmosphere, and great food. A great experience overall. We didn't get to sit by the open widow but could see well from where we were. Quite the memory to have of our Maui trip. Would return again!”
