• Beer and food are great.
• Gets very crowded at night and on the weekends.

“The beer at the Blackhorse is great, I would recommend any of the darker beers. As far as food goes, the pizza is top notch and the rest of the menus is very good as well.”

• Beer is of poor quality and service is lacking.

“If you are ever in, Clarksville TN and want to visit a local microbrewery I would suggest giving Black Horse pub a miss. There seem to be good reviews for this place, so I thought that it would be a worthwhile venture, that would be a mistake. Their beer has a low alcohol content and their pail ale is simply undrinkable (it was the first time I threw out beer). It may be the best place in town, but that is because it is the only place in town.”

• Favorite place in Charlottesville to meet friends for dinner and drinks.
• Limited space, crowded on weekends.

“The Black Horse Pub is great for meeting friends for drinks or a romantic dinner. There is a wide variety of beers and great appetizers (The Beer Dip is my favorite) and they have unusual pizzas and great salads. Servers are friendly and helpful with a laid back atmosphere. Upstairs there is another bar and darts.”
