Joel from Woburn, MA “Most disappointing experience I've had in Boston's north end. Food was bland, service was slow and inattentive. Atmosphere was boring. It does have a nice view of north square, though. There are 100 other restaurants within 2 blocks that I would recommend over this one.” Aug 5, 2006 by

“OK, the food was very good, but the atmosphere reminded me of a "fine dining establishment" of my youth. Sort of a suburban boudoir feel to it. It would be a safe place to take the grandparents, but not my first choice for a romantic date. The service was perfunctory. My 7 year old daughter joined us and they were happy to prepare a bowl of plain ziti with butter and Parmesan. The standouts included a tender and grease less fried calamari, mussels in a scampi style broth and a veal dish with artichokes, red pepper, olives, and mushrooms in a white wine sauce. The bread was the Italian equivalent of Wonder bread. They also have only a house red or white by the glass. The red wasn't bad, but it would have been nice to have more of a choice.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Restaurant Representatives:
