  • Very wonderful and intimate.
  • Parking on the street is somewhat limited.

“Two wonderful and talented sisters purchased the restaurant in the spring of 2008 and have taken an already great restaurant to a beautiful new level. The beef, chicken, duck, lamb are terrific but I am partial to the absolutely fresh fish never frozen that they offer with interesting flavor combinations. It is so much fun to stop by the kitchen and watch the madness and good humor among all these talented people. They run the top of the restaurant where everyone eats other than the open patio during warm weather and is very charming and talented. They also entertain sometimes on Fridays by singing wonderful old jazz tunes with real power. If you want to experience what may be the most romantic restaurant destination in the mid-west, and certainly one of the finest culinary experiences available, go there for a nice candle-lit dinner in this 1845 home converted into a top restaurant. You will shout for joy at the food. The wine is very interesting and delightful and priced right. The service is the best. The music is fun. The kitchen is a blast.”

  • Everything on the menu is excellent.
  • It's a bit of a drive from the city.

“The Vineyards in Weston is the place to go for exquisite dining. The little restaurant is actually an historic house and the tables are situated in the former living spaces, while the kitchen is downstairs. It is owned by two sisters who recently took over in 2008. The food is amazing, and cooked fresh to order, so don't expect it to be quick. The wait is well worth it. The potato soup, beef tenderloin, and, for lunch, the Waldorf chicken salad sandwich are my favorites, although everything I've eaten there has been superb. I almost forgot, they have an extensive wine list with both local Weston wines and mainstream labels. If you're looking for a treat, visit the Vineyards. If you are looking for a pleasant, sit-down meal with excellent food, you won't be disappointed.”

  • Food, service and atmosphere were all great.
  • 20 minutes from Kansas City. Little far but worth it.

“Great quaint little place with fabulous salmon and wonderful service. This is not like a big chain restaurant but that is what adds to the distinct dining pleasure.”
