• Everything.

“The place was over packed and the food was horrible! I mean honestly I've had better steaks at a dinner or the hospital. I've been to the Ruth Chris and anyone who has ever been there would know what a amazing steak taste's like. This place steaks came out slightly cold and hard on the outside? The crispy onions where soggy and cold. They told me no problem they would fix it and there were very sorry, all they did was throw the same ones back into the deep-fryer so now they were dark and burn? After the meal, they saw no look of satisfaction on my face. I hate this place. Beware of pace's is all I can say!”

“The waiter was very rude,not once did he ever come to the table to ask if everything was okay. He took our order and gave us the bill which was the only time we saw him. There are too many servers serving the table. The food was okay,some side dishes were served cold when they should have hot. I guess they really don't care about customer service.”

“Where to start. Excellent ambiance and service. Wine list without vintages? Asked our server about the steaks. No prime in the whole place? No! The nail in the coffin? Rock Lobster! On Long Island. Just sad!”

“The Port Jefferson location has on 2 occasions had very poor service especially on how they seat their guests. The latest time, we placed a reservation on a Tuesday for a party of 9 coming there on Saturday night at 7:30 pm. The room was already over crowded as it was before the table was placed there. The table they wanted us (8 adult males) to sit in was made for maybe 6 at the most. (we actually had a party of 8, 1 person was unable to attend) After complaining several times to the staff that the table was way too small, a manager told us he did not have a larger table. So, basically not only did they fail to honor our reservation and seat us at a table for us to eat on and be comfortable, but they continued to lie to us for 15 minutes, only to finally do something about the situation after we said we were leaving the restaurant. We did in fact leave and went to a different restaurant that actually respects their customers and not just jam them in a room, just to make money. I have eaten at several high end steakhouses and Pace's does not hold up to their claim, which is a high end steakhouse. Bottom line, Pace's Steakhouse has a nice atmosphere and good food, but for what you will pay for eating there, a customer should expect a certain level of service and comfort. They fail to do that.”

• The food was excellent and our waiter was great.
• It was cold in there but it was not a huge disturbance.

“I think this this restaurant is a great place to eat and enjoy a great night out. Me and my family really enjoyed Paces Steak House very much! Thank You.”

• Very accommodating to large groups and families with children.
• Dim lighting.

“This is our favorite restaurants around. Almost all of our family occasions take place at Palce's. The wait staff is polite and accommodating, the service is impeccable, and the food is out of this world. The bar staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the wine list is quite complete. We have been to many steakhouses, chains or otherwise, and we always go back to Palce's.”
