“The waitresses were unfriendly. The owner at first refused me a drink, then told me there was a very long wait for a table even though the dining room was half-empty. The crabs were soggy and, when I was finally seated (near the kitchen), I heard several yelling coming from the workers. Our waitress told us that we had to get up because they needed the table for someone else.” Apr 10, 2008 by

“I absolutely love this place and my wife and I frequent Byrnes whenever possible. At times we travel from South Jersey just to eat, have a few and meet up with friends. Although know for their crabs and wings, try the "redfish" sandwich. It's unbelievable (and spicy).” Dec 17, 2007 by

“I feel that Byrnes is very overrated! There food is simply nothing special. There wings are good. But I know that you get the "bad batch" every so often. To me. Consistency is the key. And Byrnes is not consistent! I talked to a friend who orders their wings every other week for years. He has told me that he has gotten them before where they were so bad, they were in edible. He received new wings, with an apology, and a piece of cake. Then I asked him how many times he has had to take them back. He said 10+ times! Thats way too much for me. The people and device are great though. Caution, if you weigh more then 60 pounds, get take out, because this place is a glorified closet!” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.Apr 5, 2007 by

“An all around great place. I've been going here at least twice a month for the past two years (my boyfriend has been a regular for much longer) and it never gets old. In fact, I look forward to the days that we go. Go more than once, and you're bound to see some of the same faces. Stick with the wings and the logs and you will never be disappointed just don't ask to have your wings cooked a specific way and don't ever ask for French fries! This is real Philadelphia; a little dingy, a little dirty, a little crowded, but you keep coming back.” Sep 2, 2006 by

“The best wings around period! Try the potatoes logs. Hopefully my last meal will be 25 wings, an order of logs and a cold Yuengling.” 1 of 2 people found this review helpful.Restaurant Representatives:
