• Looks nice.
• Poor service, food just ok, should have listened to others about this place.

“Maybe the Gourmet is all you have in Galloway, NJ. Maybe you should drive 5 more minutes in any direction. Went to the gourmet the other night, gentleman in the corner, sitting at a podium? Staring at everyone creepy. Is that the owner? I get the feeling of controlling micromanagement of the place. Let's not forget I called that night for directions and waited forever on hold. Ok, so I went a week later for lunch with 3 friends. Sat in the bar area. Basically no one else, except maybe 10 using the room behind for a catered event. Well, it might as well be as if we don't exist. Worst service ever. Makes me wonder why I just don't go to McDonalds, I am spending good money for poor service, yup. One waitress to run the entire place. There is no one else that is scheduled or can come in to work? I guess that's how you make your money. Very poor service. And there are two or three people standing around to greet you when you come in the door. I won't be going again for lunch or dinner. Wait an hour to get lunch. Drinks empty. Food mediocre. No need to complain, just don't go. Your money and word of mouth is the best way to promote good service. I think of this place like a good looking girl that you don't know. You're drawn in by looks, but get to know her, and you will split quick. How about I call it... Mediocre Italian Cuisine.”
